Lateshia's practice is shaped by every chapter that came before it. As Senior Attorney for the State of Florida Department of Children and Families from 2013 to 2016, she protected children and families in the public interest — handling matters of dependency, parental rights, and child welfare.
From 2016 to 2022, she spent six years as an insurance defense litigator, defending carriers in third-party liability, premises liability, automobile, bad faith, and wrongful death cases. She learned exactly how denials are structured — and how to break them.
